Meet the big-hearted humans (and one very opinionated office cat) behind Pet Food Pantry of OKC! From our small but mighty staff and dedicated board of directors to our feline supervisor, this team is united by one mission: keeping pets and their people together.

Our Board of Directors is a passionate, hands-on group of professionals who bring their talents, leadership, and heart to help guide Pet Food Pantry of OKC. From corporate know-how to community service, they make sure we stay grounded in our mission and growing toward our vision — all while sneaking in a few pets and treats for the office cat.

Chantel Matallana, President

"Leadership is about inspiring others — and in my case, making sure no one forgets who’s boss (Oliver, our office cat, knows this well!)."

Chantel brings a powerful blend of leadership, discipline, and compassion to the Pantry. As an Operations Manager at CarMax and a former U.S. Army Sergeant, she keeps us mission-focused and always moving forward.

Megan Eusseppi, Vice-President

"Engineering solutions for life’s challenges — whether it’s data or dog treats, I’m all about making things work smoothly."

Megan is an Engineering Analyst by day and a community champion by heart. A dedicated volunteer with the Junior League of OKC, she brings a strategic eye and a generous spirit to everything she does.

Hillary Ashton, Secretary

"Keeping things organized and running like clockwork — because every great team needs a little legal eagle and a lot of heart."

As a Paralegal at Abel Law Firm and an active Junior League of OKC volunteer, Hillary keeps our records sharp and our team connected. She’s the detail-oriented advocate every board needs.

Oliver - Chief of Happiness

“They think they run this place. I let them think that.”

With impeccable whiskers and strong opinions, Oliver keeps morale high and ensures treats are always distributed fairly. As our resident office cat and Chief of Happiness, he supervises naps, greets visitors, and keeps the humans in line.

Candace Beaty - Executive Director

“I came for the pets, stayed for the purpose.”

Candace first joined Pet Food Pantry of OKC as a volunteer in 2016 and never looked back. She served as Treasurer, Vice President, and President of the Board before becoming Executive Director in 2019. Her leadership is powered by heart, strategy, and an unwavering love for keeping pets and people together.

Norm Chaichan - Warehouse Manager

“If it needs lifting, loading, or finding, I’m your guy.”

Since 2019, Norm has been the behind-the-scenes hero of all things food-related. From expertly operating the forklift to managing inventory and driving the box truck, he makes sure no bowl goes empty. He’s also Oliver’s official human, though Oliver may see it the other way around.
