At Pet Food Pantry of OKC, we believe no one should have to choose between caring for themselves and feeding their beloved pet. Since 2010, we’ve been showing up with full hearts (and full bowls!) for seniors, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and those experiencing homelessness across Central Oklahoma.
We're proud to be known as Central Oklahoma’s Food Bank for Pets — but we’re more than a pantry. We’re a community of pet lovers on a mission to keep people and their pets together, healthy, and happy.
Monthly Home Deliveries
Volunteers bring food, flea/tick prevention, and pet supplies straight to the homes of seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities.
Homeless Outreach
Twice a month, we deliver directly to homeless and community partners who serve individuals without housing — because pets are family, no matter where you live.
Pop-Up Assistance
For those who don’t quite meet our program criteria, we still try to help! A few times each week, we head into the community to offer a small amount of pet food to help folks get by for a few days.
Statewide Support
When we have extra food, we pay it forward — sharing with human food pantries, other nonprofits, rescues, and shelters across Oklahoma to reach even more pets and people in need.
With your support, the people we serve can care for their pets and themselves — without sacrifice or separation.
For many of the people we serve, their pet is more than just a companion — they’re family, and often their only source of love, support, and connection. Pets offer purpose, comfort, and unconditional love. They give their humans a reason to get up in the morning — and a reason to keep going.
But for those living on fixed incomes or without stable housing, caring for a beloved pet can be incredibly hard. Many sacrifice their own meals or medical care just to make sure their furry friend doesn’t go without. Others face the heartbreaking choice of surrendering their pet simply because they can't afford food or supplies.
Seniors are battling rising living costs without an increase in income.
Veterans, having served our country, often return home to instability, unemployment, or homelessness.
Individuals experiencing homelessness choose to stay with their pets — even if that means living outdoors, in the heat, cold, or rain — because they will not abandon their best friend.
At Pet Food Pantry of OKC, we’re here to stand in the gap — so no one has to choose between their own survival and keeping the one being who’s always been there for them.
Together, we can protect the powerful bond between people and their pets — and help both thrive.
At Pet Food Pantry of OKC, our mission goes beyond just feeding pets — we’re here to support both pets and the people who love them.
Monthly Deliveries
Volunteers deliver free pet food and supplies to low-income seniors, veterans, people with disabilities, and homeless pet parents. These monthly visits not only ease financial strain — they also provide a familiar, friendly face and a chance to check on both the person and their pet.
Community Collaboration
We partner with social service agencies, food pantries, and animal welfare organizations to reach those most in need. We connect clients with resources for low-cost veterinary care, spay/neuter services, dental clinics, and more — because healthy pets mean healthier people.
Crisis Awareness
We bring awareness to the link between animal cruelty and domestic violence, helping to break cycles of abuse by supporting pet owners in crisis.
Keeping Pets Home
By providing essential food and supplies, we help reduce the number of pets surrendered to shelters or abandoned due to financial hardship.
Public Education
We educate the community on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, nutrition, preventative care, and training — empowering pet parents to give their companions the best possible life.
Trusted Resource
We serve as a compassionate, reliable resource for anyone in our community facing animal welfare challenges.
